CICS
We are representing our Muslim community in the city of New Westminster (former Capital of British Columbia) and upholding Islamic values. We are also a registered CRA non-profit society and are run by an experienced Board of Directors voluntarily.

Our primary vision at this time is to build a Masjid in New Westminster. Secondary visions include but are not limited to spreading the knowledge of Deen, adapting the teachings of Qur’an and Sunnah, teachings of Fiqh, and memorizing Qur’an (Hifz). In growing bigger we can learn and practice Deen and have the ability to integrate ourselves into Canadian culture.

Our mission is to propagate the religion (deen) of Allah and the teachings of His messenger Prophet Muhammad PBUH to every Muslim in our locality from the youngest to the oldest, and bring the Noor (light)of Emaan (faith) and Hidayah (guidance) into their lives. Furthermore, acting in guidance, we are trying to bridge the gap between Deen and Duniya in the community by becoming a central focal point of contact.

Alhamdulillah, 17 Hafiz have graduated from this Musallah. Many young and senior individuals were able to learn to recite Qur’an and know the basics of Islam. 5 times Salah with permanent Jumuah Salah and a Khateeb, Collecting Zakah and Sadaqa and distributing accordingly, conducting Ramadan from start to end with daily Iftar and recitation of Qur’an in Taraweeh with Khatam are the noticeable achievements of our Musallah.
